Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 19, 2026

OutfitRidge is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to help users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have implemented many accessibility features and are actively working to address remaining gaps. See known issues below.

Accessibility Features We Have Implemented

  • Skip to main content link

A "Skip to main content" link is visible on keyboard focus, allowing keyboard users to bypass navigation.

  • Semantic HTML

    We use semantic HTML5 elements (<main>, <nav>, <header>, <footer>, <section>, <button>) to communicate structure to assistive technologies.

  • ARIA labels

Interactive elements such as icon-only buttons include descriptive aria-label attributes.

  • Keyboard navigation

All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard using Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys.

  • Focus indicators

Visible focus rings are displayed on all interactive elements for keyboard users.

  • Color contrast

Text and UI elements meet the WCAG AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.

  • Resizable text

Text scales correctly when browser font size is increased up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

  • Alt text for images

Product images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes.

  • Form labels

All form inputs have associated visible labels or accessible aria-label attributes.

  • Error identification

Form errors are clearly described in text, not by color alone.

  • Responsive design

The site is fully usable on mobile and tablet devices, supporting touch-based interaction.

Known Accessibility Issues

We are aware of the following areas that do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA and are actively working to resolve them:

  • Rich text editors

The custom artwork description editor may not be fully operable by screen reader users. We are evaluating accessible alternatives.

  • Complex data tables

Some admin-area tables may lack full column header associations in older screen readers. We are adding scope attributes.

  • Third-party embeds

Stripe payment forms are provided by a third party. We cannot guarantee full WCAG compliance for these components.

  • Image carousels

The home page featured products carousel does not currently pause automatically on focus or hover on all devices. This is being addressed.
